what is the best way to restore the nap on a suede seat of a western saddle?

saddle

I'm putting my saddle up for sale in a shop dispatch. I tried to use a brush of suede for attillare up the seat, but has left a "scratchy" effect instead. Of the suggestions? Thank you!

Use a sponge rigid (dry) and brush against fur

Try paper average grade of sand and brush lightly.

Presumably the "brush" of suede; was the brass bristle. Solleverà hair on suede and leaves scratchy if used too vigorously. What you need is a pumice stone as those for your feet. Use gently in a circular motion. With the brush and stone suede, is careful not to cut or 'pick' stitching on the saddle.
